Consultation and Material Selection for the Perfect Carbon Look

The process begins with in-depth consultation. We analyzed the specific texture, gloss level, and surface treatment of the R8's existing OEM carbon parts. Unlike standard paint or basic vinyl, genuine carbon fiber possesses a unique 3D weave and depth. Selecting the right film is critical. We spent 2-3 hours comparing approximately 30-50 different carbon wrap films under various lighting conditions – natural sunlight, fluorescent lights, and shade – to ensure the chosen film's appearance matched the OEM parts precisely.

The Carbon Wrap + PPF Combination: Durability Meets Aesthetics

While a clear Paint Protection Film (PPF) offers protection, it doesn't provide the visual enhancement of carbon fiber. Standard carbon PPF can mimic the look, but often lacks the intricate 3D texture and depth of real carbon. Step-by-Step Carbon Roof Installation Process
