The owner opted for a premium package combining SolarGaurd Premium's top-tier LX film for the front windshield and sides, and Zenith IR film for the glass roof. The chosen tints were LX 40% for the front, LX 15% for the rear sides, and Zenith IR 15% for the glass roof, balancing privacy with exceptional heat rejection.

Meticulous Preparation and Installation Process

Upon arrival, the BMW 550e, a rare high-performance hybrid, was immediately prepared for service. The vehicle already had a low-grade blue film, making precise identification difficult. As the owner had pre-selected the top-tier SolarGaurd LX film, we proceeded directly with the installation. A crucial step in any window film application is the complete removal of old tint. This process demands significant time and effort to ensure the new film adheres perfectly and achieves optimal quality. Our technicians prioritize this stage, sometimes spending more time on removal than the actual installation.

The SolarGaurd LX film is renowned for its advanced full metal sputtering technology. While appearing black, it's a high-performance reflective film, embodying SolarGaurd Premium's cutting-edge technology. It's available in 70%, 55%, 40%, 25%, and 15% shades. The popular combination of 40% for the front and 15% for the sides offers an ideal balance of privacy and clear visibility for driving. We take great care to prevent damage to the defroster lines during removal and installation, a common concern for owners undergoing re-tinting. The installation is completed with the application of a premium LX metal sticker, signifying the upgrade.

The LX 15% tint on the rear sides provides excellent privacy. From the inside, the view is subtly tinted yellow, aiding night visibility, while the purple hue visible from the outside signifies its powerful blocking of harmful UV-B rays, which penetrate deep into the skin. The Zenith IR film applied to the glass roof further enhances thermal comfort by rejecting solar heat.

Installation Process:

1. Thorough inspection and cleaning of all glass surfaces.
2. Precise cutting and heat-molding of the window film to match each window's curvature.
