The Hyundai Elantra N, already a head-turner with its sporty design, recently visited our Seoul shop for a significant aesthetic and protective enhancement. This particular N model boasts a striking two-tone finish, combining a carbon black hood with a clean white body. While impressive in its stock form, the owner sought to elevate its unique character and shield it from the elements. This review details the custom Paint Protection Film (PPF) and ceramic coating application designed to amplify the Elantra N's aggressive styling while providing robust defense against scratches and environmental damage.

Custom PPF Application: Matte and Carbon Accents

The core of this customization involved strategic PPF application to key areas. First, the GT wing was meticulously disassembled to allow for a flawless application of matte PPF. This not only enhances the wing's sporty appeal but also safeguards it from minor impacts and road debris. Following this, the GT wing was reassembled and the main body of the wing received the same matte PPF treatment. This ensures a cohesive look and provides comprehensive protection, making the wing appear as if it were originally crafted from matte carbon fiber. The primary benefit here is superior rock chip protection, crucial for exposed components like the GT wing that are susceptible to stone impacts and everyday scratches.

For a striking visual contrast, the lower section of the rear trunk on the white body received a carbon fiber patterned PPF. This adds a dynamic visual element, creating a unique focal point at the rear of the car. The effect is akin to installing genuine carbon fiber parts, lending a premium and aggressive aesthetic. When selecting films, it's vital to consider the overall vehicle design and long-term durability, not just the immediate visual impact. Completing the Protection: Ceramic Coating

To complement the PPF and further enhance the vehicle's finish, a full ceramic coating was applied.
