This tiered warning system offers drivers ample time to react and prevent accidents.

Installation Process: Precision Mounting on the Grand Cherokee Bumper

Installing front sensors requires careful attention to bumper aesthetics and sensor alignment. The process begins with precisely measuring and marking the locations for the four sensors on the bumper, ensuring they match the vehicle's color and contour. Once the positions are determined, 30mm holes are accurately drilled into the bumper. This step demands meticulous care to avoid damaging internal wiring or structures. Wiring, Switch Integration, and Driver Convenience

After the sensors are secured, the wiring commences. Signal and power wires from each sensor are routed through the bumper's rear space and connected to the main control unit (ECU). To minimize interference from vehicle noise and electromagnetic waves, signal wires are shielded and routed separately from power lines.

A key convenience feature of the front sensor system is the integrated On/Off switch. This allows the driver to manually control the system, typically installed in an accessible location on the dashboard or near the steering wheel. For instance, the sensors can be deactivated during car washes or in tight underground parking garages where the beeping might be bothersome, and reactivated on open roads. The switch's placement is also customized to complement the vehicle's interior color scheme.
