Understanding the Sorento's Paint Damage

The 3-Step Polishing Process for Flawless Results

Professional paint correction typically involves a multi-stage process:

1. 1st Stage Polishing: Utilizes the most aggressive compounds and pads to remove significant swirl marks and deep scratches. This stage focuses on the most damaged areas. However, this process can introduce secondary defects like holograms if not performed carefully.
2. 2nd Stage Polishing: Employs medium-cut compounds and pads to refine the paint surface, removing the holograms and finer scratches left from the first stage.
3. 3rd Stage Polishing (Finishing): Uses ultra-fine compounds and soft pads to achieve a high-gloss finish, removing any remaining minor imperfections and preparing the surface for coating.
