The dashcam is strategically mounted behind the rearview mirror, ensuring it doesn't obstruct the driver's view while covering the entire windshield. Our installation process focuses on clean wiring, routing cables along the windshield's edge and tucking them into the headliner for a seamless look.

Proper routing and connection of the rear camera are critical. We ensure the rear camera cable follows the original wiring path through the trunk, with all connections insulated to prevent water damage or short circuits. Protective tubing is used to safeguard the wires from vibration and damage. Precise angle adjustment of the rear camera is performed to guarantee clear visibility of the road and surrounding vehicles, especially during reversing, even in adverse weather conditions.

The Importance of a Dashcam Power Pack

A dashcam alone isn't enough for comprehensive protection. When your GLC's engine is off, the power supply to the dashcam is cut, leaving your vehicle vulnerable. A dedicated power pack, or auxiliary battery, enables continuous 24-hour recording, capturing any incidents that occur while the car is parked. A circuit breaker is installed to prevent short circuits and protect the GLC's sophisticated electronics.
