The latest Mercedes-Benz G450d, a vehicle already commanding attention with its iconic rugged design, recently visited our facility for a significant aesthetic and protective upgrade. The owner opted for a comprehensive matte Paint Protection Film (PPF) application, paired with the popular Night Package, to further enhance its already imposing presence. Beyond the PPF, this G-Wagen also received Huper Optik tinting, wheel refinishing, and power side-step installation, all contributing to a truly bespoke finish. The G-Class, with its sharp lines and numerous protruding components, presents a challenging canvas for PPF installation, especially when applying a matte film over a gloss paint surface. This requires meticulous cutting and finishing techniques. Our team, with years of experience on supercars and luxury vehicles, is adept at handling such intricate work, ensuring the film edges are tucked neatly and secured with heat treatment for maximum longevity.

Meticulous Preparation for Flawless Application

Every premium vehicle protection service begins with a thorough new car inspection. We meticulously checked the G450d's interior and exterior condition, along with all electronic systems, to identify any pre-existing issues. Following the inspection, a rigorous pre-treatment process commenced to remove all surface contaminants, including oils, iron particles, and general grime. A snow foam wash followed by a high-pressure rinse ensures the vehicle's surface is perfectly clean, allowing the PPF to adhere flawlessly without lifting. This entire process is conducted in a professional, controlled environment equipped with proper wastewater management systems, crucial for achieving a perfect finish.

Night Package and Tinting for a Complete Transformation

The G450d received a smoked PPF treatment on the headlights, turn signals, and taillights. This not only provides a subtle, sophisticated dark tint but also adds a layer of protection against minor impacts. Customization extended to the bumper accents, grille, and badging, which were precisely painted using top-tier materials in a professional paint booth, matching the quality of the original factory finish. The side steps and rocker panels were enhanced with a wrap, creating a seamless look with the vehicle's body. To complement the matte PPF, black PPF was applied to the spare tire cover, offering both protection and a stealthy aesthetic. The window tinting, using Huper Optik's 'Pranase' series, was applied at 30% for the front windshield and 15% for the side and rear windows. A 'shaving' technique was employed on the side windows, meticulously trimming the film edge to align perfectly with the glass, creating an integrated look even when the windows are lowered.

Installation Process:
