Our goal for this wheel repair and painting project was to achieve a finish that closely matched the original factory look. Inspection and Preparation

The initial step involved a thorough inspection of the Polestar 4's wheels to identify all areas with scratches and those requiring paint. Natural Drying and Final Inspection

After the heat treatment, the wheels undergo a natural drying process. This allows the clear topcoat to fully cure, a step that requires at least 24-48 hours. Rushing this stage can lead to micro-cracks in the finish. As the wheels dried, they developed a brilliant gloss black finish, virtually indistinguishable from the Polestar 4's original factory color.

Once fully dried, the tires were remounted. This wasn't just a simple reinstallation; it included precise wheel balancing using specialized equipment to prevent vibrations during high-speed driving.

The entire process, from wheel removal to final drying, took approximately 48 hours. While same-day service isn't typical due to the curing times, arrangements can be made with advance booking. The result was a perfect restoration of the Polestar 4's wheels, leaving the owner highly satisfied.
